Your capabilities
Your profile, skills and record follow you across every company you work with — so your twentieth job doesn’t start from the same standing as your first. You’re not a row in someone else’s database.
Know what is expected before you accept the job. Keep the instructions, changes and evidence in one place, so the customer can review your work and the payment process can move forward.
Show customers the skills, experience and working area you bring. Review the requirements and agreed terms before taking on an assignment.
Your profile, skills and record follow you across every company you work with — so your twentieth job doesn’t start from the same standing as your first. You’re not a row in someone else’s database.
You publish the windows you’re open to work — not your whole calendar. Being reachable shouldn’t mean being tracked. Nobody sees your schedule, and nobody needs to.
Nobody assigns you work. An offer arrives with a clock on it and you accept or decline. Declining costs you nothing and is recorded as a decline, not a failure — knowing early is worth more to everyone than a reluctant yes.
Use the job record to understand the required steps, capture progress and raise issues with the responsible team.

The job comes with the scope, the steps and the acceptance criteria set out before you start — so you know what “done right” looks like, not just what to do.
When the work turns out to be something else, the change and the customer’s agreement to it are recorded while you’re still on site. Rates don’t change; the extra time and materials are agreed before you do them — not argued about after.
Keep the photos, sign-off, location and time captured on site with the job record. If a customer asks about the work later, you can refer back to the evidence you submitted.
Recorded work, agreed changes and completion evidence help customers review what has been delivered — and support getting you paid for it. You’re paid for time and materials, never piece rate: a job that turns out harder than it looked is paid for what it took.
Confirm rates and payment terms before accepting work. FortyFive | Pay is being developed to connect accepted work to payment, with factoring planned through finance partners for eligible assignments. Ask us which payment services are available to you.
