Accessibility statement
How FortyFive makes fortyfive.work accessible, and how to tell us about problems.
Last updated:
We want everyone to be able to use fortyfive.work. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and a skip link to the main content;
- full keyboard navigation, with visible focus, including the menu and language switcher;
- text and background colours chosen for sufficient contrast;
- text that reflows at 400% zoom and on small screens, without horizontal scrolling;
- diagrams that have a text equivalent, and a text list in place of complex images on small screens;
- each language version marked up with its language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
Known limitations
- Translations are drafts awaiting native review; the English version is authoritative.
- Downloadable PDFs may not be fully accessible. Every PDF we publish has the same content as a web page on this site.
Feedback
If you find a problem or need information in a different format, email [email protected]. We aim to reply within five working days.
